Project Overview
Premier Scaffolds was engaged to provide an innovative access solution for the historic Customs House in Brisbane. Renowned for its iconic architecture and multifaceted use as a venue for weddings, functions, a live restaurant, and office spaces, Customs House presented a unique challenge that required a purpose-built solution.
The objective was clear: deliver a tailored solution that met functional access needs, avoided disrupting daily operations, adhered to tight project timelines, and minimised visual impact to preserve the venue’s aesthetic appeal.
Premier Scaffolds was engaged for this project, understanding that our capacity and capabilities stretched beyond simple installation, it’s our understanding of tailored access solutions that sets us apart, with safety, strength, and efficiency being at the forefront of our requirements every time.
By using our unique Premier Systems we were using our purpose built, lightweight equipment allowing for easy and efficient installation. Our equipment is the lightest on the market, while having the highest rating for aluminum composite, with a heavy duty rating.
In addition to what we installed, we brought additional strategic direction in how it was installed to increase safety, and productivity to reduce time on site, while improving efficiencies across the project.
This included building a loading bay on the eastside, and using our Premier Scaffolds crane to reduce erection time frame on site, and allowing the other workers to carry out works earlier and more efficiently.
